Module Production

a

Checking the solar cells:
Before soldering the solar cells, each individual solar cell is checked for possible damage.

b

Connecting the solar cells into strings:
Solar cell string (10 solar cells are connected in series)

c

Matrix-Unit:
Configuration and connection into an electrical functional solar cell matrix; a solar module for grid-connected applications consists of a total of 40 or 60 solar cells.

d

Layup:
Preparation of the module coating made of glass, film and solar cells.

a

Laminating into weatherproof units:
Cells are embedded into a glass/film laminate using a thermal vacuum process

b

Automatic positioning of the connection box

c

Framing:
Pressing an aluminum frame

d

Sun simulator:
Sorting the modules in 5-watt increments depending on the performance; positive sorting

e

Final control, cleaning and packaging
